EXAMPLES OF APPLICATION:
JW—M591 can be used as clear topcoat as follows:
• Pigmented PE, PU, UV basecoat
• Sanding with grains 320
• Lacquered PU topcoat prepared on FO-XXM060/Color or FO-XXM036/Color
• JW—M591
Alternatively, JW—M591 can be pigmented with the pastes from the range EF-M090/xxx up to 5% without
jeopardizing the obtainment of the effect and the surface uniformity.
In this case the “lacquered” system becomes:
• Pigmented PE, PU, UV basecoat
• Sanding with grains 320
• JW—M591 + EF-M090/xxx
In order to maximize the coverage it is possible to apply an intermediate coat of lacquered topcoat as
above.
The colored pastes with inorganic pigments can also be added up to a maximum of 7% (total quantity of
pastes) if the coverage needs to be maximized.
Don’t exceed the maximum recommended application grams: an excessive grammage (clear & pigmented)
bring to a reduction of the surface mechanical resistance.
ALTERNATIVE HARDENERS:
• FC—M690 at 50%. It allows to obtain great resistances to cold liquids. With this catalysis the
resistance to stains such as red wine and coffee is nevertheless limited: it is therefore not
recommended to use JW—M591 as final coat for the coating of kitchen tops especially if light
colored.
• FC—M070 at 30-40%: it extends the drying times and it maximizes the “soft”. Only to be used for
not pigmented JW—M591.
GENERAL REMARKS:
JW—M591 has a light yellowish coloring in bulk that has no consequence on the final application nor on
the anti-yellowing properties.
Unlimited shelf life. After prolonged periods of storage, well homogenize the product before use.
The product might present viscosity drops over time.
