APPLICATION METODS:
Spray: conventional, airmix, airless, electrostatic gun (as long as with machines suitable for
waterborne products).
PRODUCT PREPARATION:
Ready to use. If needed, thin with tap water.

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION:
Sand the substrate with 320 – 400 grit paper. YO-xxM760/ XXX can be applied on WB, PE or UV basecoats.Do not apply on nitro or PU basecoats.
PIGMENTABILITY:
Please refer to Aquaris interiors appl. formula book YO-760 for colours already formulated with 12% of waterbased pastes EY M460/xxx .
If necessary, YO-xxM760/–NTR can be pigmented up to a maximum of 18%. YO-xxM760/–SBN can be pigmented up to 4%. Read
the TDS of WB pastes for more technical information about covering properties, light resistance, etc
REMARKS:
By using YO-xxM760/–NTR, viscosity of the topcoat can vary according to the colour composition. Optimal viscosity for application is 45 seconds by using a Din 6 cup. This level of viscosity can be obtained by adding tap water or AY M453 under stirring.
APPLICATION ON GLASS:
topcoat YO-xxM760/XXX and colours derived from it can be used for coating glass if they are blended with
crosslinker YCM419 at 2%. Add crosslinker under stirring (previously blended with tap water at 1:1). Use within 24-48 hours from
blending.
GENERAL REMARKS:
– Mix well before use.
– If properly stored at temperatures between 5 and 35°C, shelf life is 18 months.
-On application, the temperature of the product, the substrate, the coating and the working environment should never fall below
15°C. Coatings applied at lower temperatures will show chemical and mechanical properties lower than standard performances
that can be normally achieved.
– Coating left overs (washing waters, waters from spray booths, used coatings) must be disposed of according to local regulations.
Never dispose of residues directly into drains.
-Application tools must be cleaned with water after use. When dry films must be removed, special detergent AY—M460 should
be used, letting it work overnight and then cleansing with water
