APPLICATION METHOD:
By spray: conventional spray gun, airmix, airless
PROCUCT PREPARATION:
2K (recommended use): Catalyze at 10% with YC M400 isocyanate hardener or alternatively with
YC M402 (it will give a higher gloss) taking care to mix carefully the product during the introduction.
1K: Ready to use, if necessary dilute with tap water.

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION:
clean well the surface with specific cleaners or with 280 – 320 grit paper. The product YO XXM582 may be
applied on specific W.B. bases according to the elasticity of the substrate to be treated. A test of adhesion and overcoating is
recommended in case of the other types bases
APPLICATION INSTRUCTION:
To obtain the best results, it is not recommended thin with tap water but choose the best application
conditions which allow maximum atomization. Mix very well the 2 components, let it stand 2-3 minutes after mixing and before
application.
The use of pre atomizers and pre heaters (with temperatures between 25 and 30 °C) ensure better application constancy whatever it
is the ambient room. Drying should be carried out for 30-60 min. in areas with good air ventilation and room temperature up to 40°-50°
C . Full curing is over 12-24 h after application. If room temperature is lower than 15-20°C, prolong drying time over 48h
PIGMENTABILITY:
The clear version of top-coat YO XXM582 can be pigmented with pastes from the EY M690/XXX series, up to a maximum of 20%, while the white version C02 can be pigmented only up to a maximum of 4%. In order to have more information
about the coverage, light resistance of pastes, etc., refer to the TDS of pastes.
Note: Variations in the final viscosity can be obtained according to the color composition. Therefore, the viscosity must be verified
and reached by use of water or thickener AYM453, which must be added slowly under stirring.
PARQUET:
The use of YO XXM582 for flooring must be carried out with the catalyzed product. Should a pigmented floor be created with YO XXM582, the colored base must be protected with at least one coat of the transparent topcoat as protection.
GENERAL REMARKS:
• Mix well before use.
• If properly stored at temperatures between 5 and 35°C, shelf life is 12 months
• On application the temperature of the product, the substrate, the coating and the working environment should never fall below
15°C.
• Coatings applied at lower temperatures will show chemical and mechanical properties lower than standard performances that
can be normally achieved.
• Coating residues (washing waters, waters from spray booths, used coatings) must be disposed of according to local regulations.
Never dispose residues directly into drains.
• Application tools must be cleaned with water after use. When dry films must be removed, AY—M460, special detergent should
be used, letting it work overnight and then cleansing with water
