APPLICATION METODS:
Spray: conventional air gun, airmix, airless, electrostatic (as long as with machines suitable for WB
products).
PRODUCT PREPARATION:
Ready to use; if needed, thin with tap water.

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION:
Surface must be well clean and dry (10-14% humidity), with no oil, resins and wax traces. Sand the wood substrate with 180-220 paper grit in order to reduce the fiber swelling.
OVERCOATING:
Water-based self-primer for interior YO XXM864/XXXXX can be overcoated after being sanded with 280 – 320 grit
paper. This product can be used as a primer on water-based, polyester or UV basecoats. It is not recommended to overcoat Nitro or
PU basecoats to avoid low adhesion.
GENERAL REMARKS:
• Mix well before use.
• If properly stored at temperatures between 5 and 35°C, shelf life is 18 months
• On application the temperature of the product, the substrate, the coating and the working environment should never fall below
15°C. Coatings applied at lower temperatures will show chemical and mechanical properties lower than standard performances
that can be normally achieved.
• Coating left overs (washing waters, waters from spray booths, used coatings) must be disposed of according to local regulations.
Never dispose residues directly into drains.
• Application tools must be cleaned with water after use. When dry films must be removed, AY—M460, special detergent should
be used, letting it work overnight and then cleansing with water.
