MAIN PROPERTIES:
• To block the reaction of the ageing reactive
stain, by stabilizing the colouring for the water based overcoating process
• Can be applied individually in one or more
steps or overlapped to get different colorings.

RECOMMENDED USE:
KY M11X are products able to stabilize the reactive stains by fading the reaction with the tannin. This makes the color stable and allow the water-based overcoating without applying barriers. KY M11X can be applied pure or thinned and applied in one or more coats (with an interval of 2 hours of drying between coats).It is also possible to apply 2 or more coats of the 2 stabilizers, by overlapping each other and in different way, so that the range of shades become infinite. The two stabilizer may me intermixed at any ratio, depending on the desired final result.The blend is to be used within 24 hours; used after this period of time the blend does not grant the same result of the fresh blend..
Only KY M116 can be applied for thinning KG M121, by getting 2 steps in 1 and a result which can eb considered an intermediate result compare the 2 separate steps.

KG M121 (optional)To be applied on furniture, parquet floors, beams, items to be coated with a old looking result; the raw wood shall be properly sanded, sandblasted or sawed. Application on planed wood is not recommended.
APPLICATION METHOD:
Preliminary tests must be carried out to ensure that the final result is the desired one.
By automatic or manual spray (50-60 g/mq for KY M116, 30-35 g/mq for KY M119), by brush. Application can be homogeneize with a wipe or sponge. In case of application of more coats of one stabilizer or in case of more coats of the combo (both stabilizers uses)wait at least 2 hours at room temperature before carry on with the second application.
Wait at least 12 hours after last application and before over coating.Forced drying at 30° is possible but the result will be much different than room temperature drying.WASHING THE SURFACE WITH A WET WIPE SOAKED WITH WATER IS STRONGLY SUGGESTED IN ORDER TO REMOVE ALL SALT RESIDUES WHICH MIGHT APPEAR ON THE SURFACE AND CAN COMPROMISE THE FILMING PROCESS OF THE OVERCOATING.
PRODUCT PREPARATION:
Products are highly concentrated. It is recommended to dilute with tap water: in particular
KY M116 1:1; KY M119 at least 1:2. In case of spruce wood, if a bleached effect of stain
TY M113 TXX is desired, KY M116 can be used pure. Several shades of colors are achievable by adjusting the thinning ratio.Do not mix between them and with the other ageing products in range (except for KY M116+ KG M121)

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION:
the raw wood shall be free by humidity and properly treated with brushing, sanding or saw. We do not recommend to use a simply plane substrate to avoid a uniform and flat effect.
OVERCOATING:
for a full natural effect, use hydro oil YS M009 catalyzed at 5% with YC M403. The overcoating is possible with all water-based products of series Solid and Professional. It is strongly recommended the use of YS m009 plus hardener as first coat, which enhances the chemical resistance of the manufactured item. It is also possible to use acrylic solvent based products among the ones which grants a “natural wood” effect.
APPLICATION INSTRUCTION:
Apply homogenously on the substrate, both by spray or by brush. Harmonizing effect can be got by wipe applied later on.If a second coat of the same stabilizer or of the other code is required, it can be done after 2 hours of drying at room temperature. Wait at least 12 hours from the latest application before over coating. Forced drying at 30° is allowed but the result will be much different.

GENERAL REMARKS:
• Mix well the product before use.
• If properly stored at temperatures between 5 and 35°C, shelf life is 6 months
• Coating left over (washing waters, waters from spray booths, used coatings) must be disposed of according to local regulations. Never dispose residues directly into drains.
• Clean with water the application tools immediately after use.
