RECOMMENDED USE:
TY M113 TXX are reactive stains able to reproduce the old looking effect. They directly react with the tannin contained in wood species such as chestnut or durmast or on other
kind of wood previously treated with the activating primer.IN PARTICULAR CASES SUCH AS FOR LARCH AND ELM, which may contain tannic
extracts, it is recommend to apply directly TY M113 TXX and wait the colouring process.
If after 2 – 3 hours the colouring is not performed or not adequately strong, apply one coat
of AY M113 thinned at ratio 1:1 with tap water.
TY M113 TXX stain can be equalized with one or both products series KY M11X or treated
with patina KG M121, in order to carry on with a waterbased overcoating, or directly overcoated with acrylic solvent based products in order to not change the colour.

To be used on furniture, parquet floors, beams and other manufactured items on which you want to apply an artificial aging cycle. The raw wood shall be properly brushed, sandblasted or sawing. If applied on planed wood, the same aesthetical result will not be possible.
APPLICATION METHOD:
Preliminary tests must be carried out to ensure that the final result is the desired one.Apply by manual or automatic spray (40-50 g/mq), or by brush.Just in case, a wipe or a sponge can be used for harmonizing results. Wait 2-3 hours for the colouring process at room temperature. Forced drying is allowed at 40° but the result will be different if compared to the one got with room temperature drying.In case of water based overcoating apply the equalizer KY M11X in one or more coats based on the wished colouring result, or apply KG M121 thinned with tap water at 1:1 ratio or with KY M116.In case of solvent based overcoating you can apply directly the product without equalizing it.
PRODUCT PREPARATION:
The product is ready to use. However, it can be thinned with tap water if needed. Several colour shades can be got by adjusting the thinning ratio with this remark: not over 1:5 for color T80; not over 1:10 for color T62 in order to avoid reducing the efficacy of the stain.Do not mix TYM113 with to the other products of the ageing / old looking range

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION:
raw wood shall be humidity free and properly treated with brushing, sandblasting, sawing. We do not recommend to use a substrate simply plane to avoid a uniform and flat final result.
APPLICATION INSTRUCTION:
Apply homogeneously on all the substrate, by spray or by brush and uniform the result with a wipe.Let it dry off at room temperature for 2-3 hours based on the humidity level or with tunnel at 30°C (but the result might be different)
OVERCOATING:
for water based cycles series TY M113 TXX shall be necessarily over coated with one or both the equalizers KY M11X, or with the old looking effect patina KG M121 (tds for details) . In case of solvent based cycles overcoat directly.
GENERAL REMARKS:
-Mix well the product before use.
– If properly stored at temperatures between 5 and 35°C, shelf life is 6 months
– Coating left over (washing waters, waters from spray booths, used coatings) must be disposed of according to
local regulations. Never dispose residues directly into drains.
– Clean with water the application tools immediately after use
