APPLICATION METHOD:
Curtain coater; Spay: pot, airmix, airless
PRODUCT PREPARATION:
Add the adhesion promoter for glass YC M406 to a 2-4% ratio in weight (recommended for curtain coater) or, as an alternative, add YC M419 to a 2% ratio in weight; bring to viscosity according to the application (curtain coater or spray)

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION:
Properly clean the glass form traces of grease, dirt and limestone with proper cleaners and then make a final
cleansing with AG M500.
PIGMENTABILITY:
Use the range EY M690 XXX from 10% to 18%. Topcoat GO V800/ NTR can’t be pigmented above the 18%; White base EXT is pigmentable up to a maximum of 5 %. Make reference to the specific technical data sheet of pastes for information
regarding coverage, light resistance, etc.
Note: According to the color composition, variations on the topcoat’s viscosity arise. The optimal viscosity for curtain coater application is of about 50 – 80 seconds to DIN 4 pot (already cross-linked product);the pot has to be then verified and reached by adding tap water and/or AY M458 or increased using the thickener AY M453, to be introduced slowly and while stirring. For spray application the ideal viscosity is between the range 30-80” DIN 6
WORKAVILITY:
Topcoat GO V800/xxx guarantees good glass adhesion right after drying; nevertheless for further glass processings(drilling, grinding, beveling…) you need to wait at least 96 hours in order for the fixing action of the coating to be sufficient.
POT LIFE:
After the adding of the gripping YC M419, this additive keeps its efficacy for 24 – 36 hours. After this period, the product can be used again mixing it with fresh product and adding again the gripper to the total quantity.t
GENERAL REMARKS:
• Properly mix the product before use.
• If the product is stored at temperatures between 5 and 35°C, shelf life is 18 months.
• During application phase, for the product, the support and the environment, temperature , must not fall below 15°C.
• Films forming below such temperature do not have glass adhesion, chemical resistance and mechanical proper properties.
• Coatings leftover (cleansing water, cabin water, waste coating) have to be disposed of according to local regulations in force. Do not throw leftovers in sewage.
• Equipment has to be cleansed with water right after use. If there must be removed dry coating films, use AY M460, letting it work overnight, then rinse again with water
