SUGGESTED USE:
Look at the TDS of the component A in order to suit the right quantity and application method of each .
GENERAL REMARKS:
– Adding the hardener by blending very well with a mechanical mixer.
– If the hardener is stored in rooms with temperature between 5 and 35°C, the shelf life is 6 months.
– Use the product mixed within 3 hours. Do not use the remaining mixed product after such a time.
Exceptions to this recommendation must be clearly written on the TDS of the component A.
– On application the temperature of the product, the substrate, the coating and the working environment
should never fall below 15°C Coatings applied at lower temperatures will show chemical and
mechanical properties lower than standard performances that can be normally achieved.
– Coating left over (washing waters, waters from spray booths, used coatings) must be disposed of
according to local regulations. Never dispose residues directly into drains
CROSSLINKER FOR WATERBASED COATINGS:
YC M407 0,5 – 1
For general purposes. Medium quick drying time and long pot life . For basecoats and topcoats.
YC M408 0,5 – 1
For general purposes. Quick drying time. To improve sanding of basecoats and stack ability of topcoats.
YC M419 1 – 2 For adhesion on glass, very slow drying time
SUGGESTED USE:
add crosslinkers slowly and by mechanical mixing. To get a lump free result, we
recommend to pre-mix crosslinker with same ratio of DTM075 .
When crosslinkers are used in coating systems with quick drying time, the % of product to be used shall be
decided on system test basis or on technical experience basis.
GENERAL REMARKS:
-If the product is stored in rooms at temperature between 5 and 35°C, the shelf life is 12 months
-Once added the crosslinker, use the mixed product within 24 hours . Do not use the remaining mixed
product. Remaining mixed product shall be always blended with same ratio of new mixed product.
-On application the temperature of the product, the substrate, the coating and the working environment
should never fall below 15°C . Coatings applied at lower temperatures will show chemical and
mechanical properties lower than standard performances that can be normally achieved.
