PRODUCT USE:
Please refer to the TDS of component A in order to choose the right quantity and application
method for each hardener.
GENERAL REMARKS:
• Add the hardener by blending very well with a mechanical mixer.
• If the hardener is stored in rooms at temperatures between 5 and 35°C, the shelf life is 6 months.
• Use the product within 3 hours after adding the hardener. Do not use the remaining product after this
period. Exceptions to this recommendation must be clearly written on the TDS of component A.
• On application, the temperature of the product, the substrate and the working environment should
never fall below 15°C.
• Coating leftovers (washing waters, waters from spray booths, used coatings) must be disposed of
according to local regulations. Never dispose of residues directly into drains.
CROSSLINKER FOR WATERBASED COATINGS:
YC M406 2-4
Crosslinker for general purposes suitable for both wood and glass. The pot life is
24-48 h, according to which product is used. Recommended for application by
curtain coater with products suitable for glass.
YC M407 0,5 – 1
For general purposes. Medium drying time and long pot life. For basecoats and
topcoats.
YC M408 0,5 – 1
For general purposes. Quick drying time. It improves the sandability of basecoats
and the stackability of topcoats.
YC M409 1-4 Crosslinker for BIO products. Pot life 24-48 hours based on % of product used.
YC M419 1 – 2
For adhesion on glass, very slow drying time. After 24 h, the crosslinker
deactivates.
PRODUCT USE:
add the crosslinker slowly and under mechanical mixing. In order to avoid the formation of
lumps, we recommend pre-mixing the crosslinker with the same quantity of DTM075.
When the crosslinker is used in coating systems with a quick drying time, the quantity of product to be used
must be decided after performing tests on the system and based on the user’s application.
GENERAL REMARKS:
• If the crosslinker is stored in rooms at temperatures between 5 and 35°C, the shelf life is 12 months.
• Once the crosslinker is added, use the mixed product within 24 hours. Use the remaining mixed
product only after mixing it with the same quantity of fresh product.
• On application, the temperature of the product, the substrate and the working environment should
never fall below 15°C.
• Coating leftovers (washing waters, waters from spray booths, used coatings) must be disposed of
according to local regulations. Never dispose of residues directly into drains.
