RECOMMENDED USE:
AY M113 is a primer for wood free of tannin. The application of this product has to be combined with the application of reactive stains TY M113 TXX and with one or two of the harmonizing agents KY M11X, according to the following order:

To be used on wood without tannin (furniture, parquet, beams and other artifacts on which you want to carry out an artificial aging cycle). The raw surface must be appropriately brushed, sandblasted or obtained by sawing. If applied on planed wood, the same pleasant result will not be obtained.
APPLICATION METHOD:
By brush and by spray automatic or manual. If necessary, uniform the application with cloth or sponge. On hard wood such as ash, apply the product in low weight (30-35g/m2), blending it in case of spray application. On soft wood such as fir, apply a larger quantity of product (40-50 g / m2) to emphasize the wood grains. On wood such as larch
or elm (which may contain a certain amount of tannin) we recommend applying the first coat of reactive stain TY M113 TXX , than wait for color development 3-4 hours at room temperature. If the color does not develop (or is not sufficient), apply as a second coat AYM113 thinned at least 1:1 with water
PRODUCT PREPARATION:
Mix well before use. The product is very concentrated, therefore we recommend thinning with distilled water to obtain less aggressive final colors. Different shades of color can be obtained depending on the thinning ratio, which should not exceed 1:3 – 1:4. Otherwise,the primer will lose its effectiveness. Do not mix with other products of the range.

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION:
The raw surface must be dry and properly prepared by brushing, sandblasting, sawing. We do
not recommend using a simply planed support to avoid a flat and uniform final effect.
APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS:
Preliminary tests must be carried out to ensure that the final result is the desired one.Apply in homogeneous way on the entire surface, by spray and by brush, eventually uniform with a cloth. 30-35 g / m2for hard and medium-hard wood (ash-elm-larch), 40-50 g / m2 for the softer ones (fir, toulipier, linden, poplar ..). Let it dryoff at room temperature for 1-2 h depending on the degree of humidity or in a tunnel at 30 ° C for 1h
OVERCOATING:
AY M113 must necessarily be overcoated with one of the two reactive stains of the TY M113 TXX range to
obtain an aged wood with a natural effect (see relative technical data sheets).
GENERAL REMARKS:
– Mix well the product before use.
– If properly stored at temperatures between 5 and 35°C, shelf life is 12 months
– Coating left over (washing waters, waters from spray booths, used coatings) must be disposed of according to
local regulations. Never dispose residues directly into drains.
– Clean with water the application tools immediately after use
